What better way to visit the coastal beauty spots of our Gulf, Capri, Positano and Amalfi, than by boat.
These unique coastal towns and the unforgettable Isle of Capri are best visited by boat, thus avoiding traffic, long queues and ferry timetables. Only by sea can you appreciate the colours of the Blue Grotto in Capri, the limpid waters of the numerous coves, Positano’s unique architecture and the flavours of Restaurants only accessible by sea. Arriving by sea at a seafront restaurant to eat freshly caught seafood is an indescribable experience.
Your only problem will be which of the destinations to choose first.

This tour will let you discover the charming corners of the Sorrento Peninsula, places immersed in nature that have not been yet contaminated by mass tourism.
Departing from Sorrento, we will bike along the panoramic road of Marciano, overlooking Capri and the sea of the Gulf of Naples, until the hamlet of Termini. We will briefly stop there to rest a little bit before biking uphill to Mt S. Costanzo. Reached the mountaintop, we will leave our bicycles and walk to the chapel to enjoy a breath-taking view on the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno.
We will then proceed downhill towards the promontory of Punta Campanella, the edge of Sorrento Peninsula, an archeological site dominated by an old guard tower and the majestic lighthouse. The atmosphere is magic: we will rest immersed in the sounds of nature in complete peace.
We will then visit the holiday farm “Fossa Papa” where we will taste local products while enjoying an amazing view of Capri, right in front of us. After the tasting, we will go back to Sorrento.

-Positano coast bike tour
Departure: from guests’ accommodation. (pick-up service available)
Duration: 4 hours
Difficulty: Medium
Km: 40 approx
Meeting time: h 8.00 am
Program:
We will leave from Sorrento and head to Meta di Sorrento passing through the small towns of the peninsula. After we have arrived in Meta, we will bike along an uphill road that starts near the church dedicated to “Madonna del Lauro” (Holy Mary of Laurel). The 5-km road with a slope of 4-5% until the hamlet of Colli di San Pietro, then we will go downwards and take highway SS 163 towards the Amalfi Coast. The first section of the highway is curvy and goes downwards. The view is breathtaking; it will be hard not to be tempted to stop and take a picture.
Before getting to Positano, the road goes upwards for 1.5 km, but the enthusiasm to arrive at the pearl of the Amalfi Coast will give us energy. We will take our time to visit Positano with no rush, enjoying the many panoramic points and strolling along the small alleys. After the visit, we will go back to Sorrento along the same way until the crossroads with the highway where we will turn left, heading to the highest point of the Sorrento Peninsula, the Sant’Angelo peak. This one will be a tough road too, for serious climbers, but it is not long. We will briefly stop at the peak to enjoy a wonderful view of both the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno.
